Call of Duty: Black Ops II is an upcoming first person shooter video game for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.

The game is developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It is set to be released on the 13th of November2012.The game is the ninth instalment of the call of duty franchise.

Black ops 2 will be set in two different time periods and are connected to one and another. One will be in the near future in 2025 and one will be set in the1970s and 1980s. In the 70s and 80s section of the game players will return to play as Alex Mason while in the 2025 section players will play as Alex’s son David. In the near future section of the game a new cold war has started between China and the United States of America. Raul Menendez tries to create a full blown out war between the two superpowers.

There will also be strike force missions which will be offered to players during the storyline. What happens during those mission’s can affect the current storyline mission and in turn the overall campaign. What happens in this mission’s can even affect the plans of the story’s main antagonist, Raul Menendez.

Some of the old characters from the first black ops will return while we will also see new ones. Alex Mason will return and so will Frank Woods even though he seemingly died in the last one. Alex Mason will be once again a main character and maybe Frank Woods will have apart in the past missions. Among the new characters are David Mason the main protagonist and is Alex Mason’s son and Raul Menendez is a terrorist and the main villain. There will be a host of new weapons and new vehicles in the game with a lot more put into the robot side of warfare.

The famous zombie mode will again be included in Black-Ops with its own campaign. This will be the third time it has appeared in the call of duty games but will be the first time it will get its own campaign.  It has also been confirmed it will support 8 player co-op, unlike previous games which only allowed 4 player co-op.
